Case Study : Persuading members to vote at the AGM!

    Members are the heart of any mutual society, however it can be difficult to encourage involvement within the society and especially motivating members to vote at their Annual General Elections.

Members are the heart of any mutual society, however it can be difficult to encourage involvement within the society and especially motivating members to vote at their Annual General Elections.  Our client wished to maximise participation by investigating how effective their AGM mailing pack design was and how it could be improved for the future?  In additional they wished to understand how they could effectively communicate with their membership to increase their level of involvement in the society?

Qualitative group discussions with voters and non-voters, were conducted, to identify their differing responses and understand member's attitudes towards voting and their reaction to communications (including the AGM mailing pack) received from the Building Society.

Clear, actionable direction of how to develop their AGM mailing pack was presented backl, plus essential understanding of how to communicate with members on an on-going basis. Providing customer focus to increase the feeling of customer belonging and loyalty.
